Santa Fe de Antoiquia, Colombia
The pic I have sent is of the bridge at Santa Fe de Antoiquia. I am also sending a video crossing this bridge. I am now in Popayan on the Pan American Highway. It is only a day's drive to the border with Ecuador though I have one more stop along the way.
Yesterday I had a most interesting sight. I was on the highway that misses Cali ( I did not want to drive in another big city.) The road here must date from the time before cars or close to it, as some of the bridges are one lane affairs. The one that got my attention was one that this guy sits on all day with his stop and go sign, directing traffic.

Public Transport, Medellin Style
I took the ride too the top today, and I had to share this with you all. The thing I found surprising was the fact that this lift is used as part of the city metro. This is the first time that I have seen a ski lift used like this.
Colombia: Barclona and Santa Fe de Antioquia
Well, as the name says, I am still in Colombia, the land of surprise. I am stating to think that I am in the US or something. I took the drive out here and to my surprise there is a 3 mile long tunnel to get here, and it's new, so what was a 4 hour drive is now 1 hour. Today I will head back to Medellin and south for another
tourist town.
