Lake Atitlan

Lake Atitlan!
It's just fantastic! The drive in offered some great views, just wish there were a few moreroad signs as navigation here gets a little confusing when taking secondary roads.

The drive out was just as good, and a lot less trouble with signage, though I did get many looks from people in the small villages I passed. It was a look of surprise; What is a US car doing here? (Driven by an Aussie no less...Ed.) It was nice to see the Mayan women doing their work in thier colorful
dress ( I have to think that they are the hardest workers here as they are always busy
and the men just seam to sit around all day )

Gutemala Quezaltenango

This was my first stop after crossing into Guatemala and now seeing that it would make
life easer I took a week of Spanish lessons to help improve my situation and now only
time will tell , I am quite surprised on how the culture changes after I crossed into
Guatemala it almost seams black and white

I have come to the onion that here in Guatemala that Mayan women are the hardest
workers ,they never seam to stop all day and have some fabulous colorful dress

Now I seen some guys in the US do some things to there car but not a bus
but this could be a new trend "pimp my ride" even if it is a buss
